Steriotactic breast biopsy, MRI, and Chest x rays and chemo round 1

Our request this morning is that you pray that the biopsy they perform on Aly's right breast comes back negative. They saw a few calcium deposits on the mammogram and want to verify what they are.

Also please pray that the chemo goes well. We were unable to get the permanent port installed before this first injection so it will be through an I V. At this point Aly has had more than 15 attempts to get blood, needless to say the arms are hurting.

Pray for Aly to have strength and peace today as she gets to take her first true opportunity to fight against the cancer physically.

Thank you for all the support, please keep it coming.

I will be praying Josh! I awoke this morning at 4:30 with you guys on my heart and visions of you as a 16 or 17 year old boy doing everything you could to sneak into the NICU so you could see Ellie filled my mind. So thankful Aly has you to watch over her and protect her.

Josh,

You gave me a copy of The Purpose Driven Life when I saw you in Florida at Aunt Cathy's condo. If any two people have purpose in life, it is you and Aly. Keep fighting the good fight, and know that my prayers are with you both. Be strong,

Although we've never met and I only know you in the blogosphere, I'm grateful to be able to lift you up in prayers during this time. Aly, I pray that God wrap you in his arms and give you the utmost sense of peace, comfort and strength knowing that He is in control and is the master physician and healer. Josh, I pray that God continue to give you strength, guidance and peace as you encourage, protect and love your sweet wife Aly.

Your story is on my heart daily and I am passing on your story to all those I know that will pray and lift you guys up in the name of Jesus Christ, who "by HIS stripes, we (Aly) are healed."

From a 15 month cancer survivor I can tell you that your faith, prayers of others, a loyal and loving care giver, the fight is much easier. Your uncle Jake has been one of my prayer warriors and I am blessed to join him as one of your prayer warriors. Every time you sit in that chair to get your chemo, just imagine that you're sitting in the palm of God's hand. That truly is where you are. God Bless!

Aly,
You have constantly been on my heart and mind. Your name has been prayed by the girls in my Bible study group as well as by the people in my Sunday school class. I know God will do a miracle in you; He will give you beauty for ashes and joy for mourning. We know the end of the story. God has already won the victory, and Satan can do nothing to take that away.
You are so beautiful and strong, and I have all faith that you have the strength to withstand this!
Love,
Jana Duncan Davis

Hello,
My name is Renee Holman. I went to Lee with both your parents. I can tell that they raised a true man of God. I found out about Aly on Sunday and read the first two blogs. I just now have had the time to finish reading the blogs and comment. I have, however, been praying all week. I also shared Aly's name with my prayer group. I just wanted you to know that people you don't even know are praying for you in Texas. Isn't the family of God awesome?

Josh and Aly,
I do not know you, but my brother and sister-in-law, Bryan and Jana Collie, are in one of your small groups. Your story has been passed through my facebook and we are all lifting you up in prayer. God reigns and healing will prevail, this I truly believe.
I own a company called Elite Errands. We take care of anything you don't have time for. Grocery shopping, picking up meds, delivering meals, post office, etc..., you name it, we do it. I would like to offer my services free of charge; I feel this is the least I can do. I can also help with anything you guys are working on in completing the house. If workers need items picked up, you need paint, materials, anything delivered, etc... Or if you need an extra set of hands, I've remodled five homes myself, painting, sanding, etc.
You can reach Elite Errands at 318.372.5956 or EliteErrands@ymail.com. Websit is almost complete (www.EliteErrands.org)
I would love to be of service in any possible way we can. There's hardly a limit as to what myself and employees can do for our clients, so any need you have, please don't hesitate to call and we'll try to lessen your buden as much as we can.
Again, free of charge. If anyone reading this knows of something I can help this couple or their families with please call me as well.
